It is only possible to search with one application number at a time. When writing the number you can either choose to use, or not to use a hyphen before the check digit. An error message will be the result of an incorrect search.

If an application has not been scanned or, is not open to public inspection, the following message will appear: "There is no scanned application matching this number". If the application is available for public inspection, it enables you to study the contents of the file. A table of contents appears, with links that open each document. Each document is listed with a date, title, document number and the amount of pages it consists of.

The documents are in PDF format, you therefore need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your PC. To view a document, click on the link, you can either choose to display the document, or to save as a file.Documents can also be saved, by clicking on the link with the right hand mouse button and choosing 'Save document as'. Please note, that if you choose to save a document this way, certain web browsers, for example Mozila Firefox does not recognize the file name and you must change the suffix from '.htm' to '.pdf'.To view more than one document at a time, put a tick against the required document and then click on the link "Open all selected documents". Now you can view the documents as a continuous pdf-file. To continue with your search, either write a new application number, or to clear the screen and return back to the start position, click on the 'Search' link in the l eft hand menu.
